Patient Access Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Coordinator to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless communication between patients, clinicians, and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for patients and service users, providing accurate and timely information about procedures and operations.
- Work closely with clinical staff to arrange appointments, manage patient bookings, and distribute reports.
- Ensure patients receive timely and appropriate appointments, and provide support for patients with special needs.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, clinicians, and administrative staff to ensure seamless communication and high-quality patient care.
Person Specification
- Good general education with English and Maths to GCSE standard or equivalent.
- Relevant NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
