As a key member of our Global Settlements team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth settlement of international equities and FX transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor global markets, identify and investigate settlement matching issues, and liaise with relevant market makers as necessary.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring global markets and checking reports for settlement matching issues
  • Investigating and resolving settlement matching issues
  • Liaising with market makers as necessary
  • Monitoring exception reports and updating/amending data in relevant global markets custody portals
  • General trade amendments and mailbox monitoring
  • Error analysis, resolution, and implementation
  • Liaising with relevant departments, including analysis and management of reconciliation breaks
  • Following CASS rules to support compliance and audit processes
  • Formulating detailed written responses to stakeholders
  • FX calculations and trade input

About You

We are looking for a team player who can work accurately under time pressure, with a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams. You will be responsible for formulating detailed written responses to stakeholders and working closely with the team to ensure the smooth settlement of international equities and FX transactions.

Key skills and qualifications include:
  • Operational settlements knowledge
  • Knowledge of FIGARO, BNP's NEOLINK, and BoNY's Nexen portals
  • Ability to work accurately under time pressure
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Good knowledge of percentage calculations and general numerical formulas
