Position Overview

12-Month Fixed-Term Contract for Maternity Leave Coverage

The Equities Trade Operations Specialist will become an integral part of a reputable Asset Management organization, tasked with overseeing all operational elements of Trade Matching and Settlements, including both pre-matching and late settlement processes.

This role involves ensuring accurate trade matching across various asset classes, with a particular emphasis on Equities and external counterparties.

The Specialist will play a key role in managing failed trades, collaborating with clients and brokers to resolve any issues that arise.

Additionally, the position requires the manual instruction of non-STP trades.

Maintaining the Omgeo Alert and SS&C databases regarding standard settlement instructions is also a critical responsibility, alongside the upkeep of the Fund/Country settlement matrix for permitted markets associated with managed accounts.

The Specialist will be responsible for the daily processing of subscriptions and redemptions across funds, as well as undertaking ad hoc project work as necessary.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in Trade Settlements and Trade Matching, with a solid operational understanding of equities.
  • A working knowledge of Omgeo CTM or similar trade matching systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with the LVTS Longview Portfolio Management System and Beauchamp Accounting System is advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
  • A proactive approach to responsibilities and a dedication to the role.
  • A quick learning ability, with a capacity to assimilate new information efficiently.
