We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Hydrologist/Flood Risk Engineer to join our team at Access Talent Group. The successful candidate will have a strong background in surface water drainage, surface water management plans, flood risk assessments, and hydraulic modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ecological surveys and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Deliver high-quality consultancy services, including project management and communication with clients
  • Help grow the consultancy through business development and client relationships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Hydrology qualification
  • 5 years minimum experience from a UK consultancy
  • Experience with surface water drainage SUDS, surface water management plans, flood risk assessments, and hydraulic modelling
  • Software – HEC RAS, Flood Modeller Pro, Tuflow, GIS packages
  • Sound knowledge of UK legislations
  • Full driving licence
  • MSc in Hydrology
  • Worked on EIA chapters
