Senior Hydrologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydrologist to join our team of water scientists and engineers. As a Senior Hydrologist, you will play a key role in developing hydrological assessments, including flood risk assessments, water resource assessments, and drought risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Hydrological Assessments: Develop and implement hydrological assessments to support our clients' needs, including flood risk assessments, water resource assessments, and drought risk assessments.
- Hydrological Modelling: Conduct hydrological modelling and analysis to support conceptual site models and risk assessments.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with principal staff members on project management and technical guidance.
- A postgraduate degree level qualification in a relevant field, such as Catchment Management, Hydrology, Geomorphology, Geography, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or Engineering Geology.
- Experience in the application of hydraulic modelling software, such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, and HEC-RAS.
- Experience with Grapher, GIS, and/or AutoCAD.
- Experience of UK planning regulations.
- Strong team and project management skills, commensurate with your grade and experience.
- A valid full UK driving licence.
- A competitive salary in the region of £30,000 to £40,000, with a higher salary potentially negotiable.
- A permanent contract, working 40 hours per week within Monday to Friday.
