Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydrologist to join our team of water scientists and engineers. As a Senior Hydrologist, you will play a key role in developing hydrological assessments, including flood risk assessments, water resource assessments, and drought risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Hydrological Assessments: Develop and implement hydrological assessments to support our clients' needs, including flood risk assessments, water resource assessments, and drought risk assessments.
  2. Hydrological Modelling: Conduct hydrological modelling and analysis to support conceptual site models and risk assessments.
  3. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with principal staff members on project management and technical guidance.
Requirements
  1. A postgraduate degree level qualification in a relevant field, such as Catchment Management, Hydrology, Geomorphology, Geography, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or Engineering Geology.
  2. Experience in the application of hydraulic modelling software, such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, and HEC-RAS.
  3. Experience with Grapher, GIS, and/or AutoCAD.
  4. Experience of UK planning regulations.
  5. Strong team and project management skills, commensurate with your grade and experience.
  6. A valid full UK driving licence.
