Job Summary

We are seeking an Electronics Technician to provide support for the servicing and calibration of Oceaneering's NDT equipment used in the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and calibrate equipment used within the NDT industry.
  • Assist with the repair of electronic components to a high standard.
  • Use oscilloscopes, function generators, and millimeters for RF testing and calibration.
  • Manufacture minor electronic assemblies from standard parts for specialized projects.
  • Servicing of mains-rated equipment will require portable appliance testing in accordance with statutory regulations.
  • Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Carry out work in accordance with Oceaneering's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems.
  • Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by Management.

Safety and Quality

Ensure that Oceaneering's Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to, so far as is reasonably practicable, to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • A proven background in electronics and testing or a relevant qualification (BTEC/NVQ/City & Guilds electronics).
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Ability to undergo and pass a medical examination.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word and Excel).
