We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team at Willis Lease Finance Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant maintenance of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Act as Certifying and Support Staff, exercising privileges in accordance with individual authorization documents.
- Supervise base maintenance activities, allocating work and ensuring satisfactory completion and certification of all work required by contracting operators/customers.
- Ensure compliance with the organization's procedures and standards, interacting with Quality Auditors to facilitate unhindered quality function performance.
- Implement the Quality Policy and address Human Factor issues, working in and maintaining facilities to a high standard.
- Perform maintenance strictly following approved maintenance data, recording maintenance in a clear and unambiguous manner.
- When maintaining operational aircraft, direct the respective CAMO to minimize deferred defects and monitor rectification progress.
- Attend required training, including aircraft type training when additional type coverage is needed.
- Classify, segregate, and store components, parts, materials, tools, and equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations.
- Ensure tooling and equipment are used following relevant instructions and organization procedures, maintaining tooling and equipment as directed by the DAM.
- Perform reasonable duties associated with the upkeep of the line station and maintenance facility as directed by the DAM.
- Report problems and suggest improvements to the Director, Quality Aircraft, maintaining and upholding a Just Culture in the approved maintenance organization.
- Submit internal occurrence reports to the Director, Quality Aircraft Maintenance when required, and encourage colleagues to do the same.
- Prepare relevant work packages and formally hand them to maintenance personnel as applicable, reviewing completed work packages and identifying errors and/or omissions.
- Archive electronic copies of completed work packages and send original documentation to the relevant CAMO.
- Actively support and promote a positive safety learning culture through the reporting of occurrences and potential hazards, adopting continuous improvement and human factors principles in work.
- UK CAA/EASA Part 66 License (B1, B2 & C).
- Supervisory experience running base maintenance checks.
- Current type ratings on one or more of the following types: Embraer 135/145, Boeing 737NG, ATR 42/72, Airbus A320 CEO.
- Knowledge of Part M, Part 145, Part 66 & Part 147.
- HF Qualified.
- EWIS Qualified.
- SFAR88 Qualified.
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally in the English language.
- Ability to work IAW-approved maintenance data.
