Branch Assistant

At Quay – SBD, we're looking for a skilled Branch Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our trade counter team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the branch in achieving its performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, working closely with the team to ensure a positive experience for our customers.
- Maintain high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist with health and safety compliance, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Be competent with multi-drop deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.
- Work collaboratively with the Branch Manager and team to achieve branch performance targets.
- Provide cover in the branch when required, demonstrating flexibility and a can-do attitude.
Requirements:
- A friendly, welcoming attitude, with energy and passion to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Be versatile and prepared to assist in all aspects of running the branch, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- A full valid driving license is essential, with a forklift truck license being a desirable asset.
- Previous experience in a driving role is advantageous, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Good organisational skills and IT literacy are essential, with experience in a trade counter environment being a plus.
