Job Title: Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at Advanced Resource Managers in Plymouth, Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist the Discipline Lead in delivering structural engineering work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage technical deliverables of structural engineering packages in line with planned deliverables agreed by the Discipline Lead.
  • Design and substantiate heavy civil engineering and building structures to relevant seismic codes for satisfying Nuclear Safety Functions.
  • Have prior knowledge of seismic engineering principles or a background in design of nuclear-safety classified structures.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of substantiation of industrial buildings.
  • Knowledge of building services design and installation.
  • Sound understanding of engineering design and safety practice as relevant to discipline, post, and project requirements.
