Compensation: £55,000 Annual Salary, Pro-rata

Position Overview: Bramwith Consulting is on the lookout for a proficient Procurement Specialist with a focus on public sector legal services. This role is pivotal in overseeing the re-procurement processes for legal service frameworks and delivering expert advice on procurement strategies tailored for the public sector.

With significant regulatory shifts on the horizon, it is essential for the candidate to possess a thorough understanding of the upcoming Procurement Act 2023, which will be implemented in the near future.

Bramwith Consulting anticipates a surge in project opportunities, with a robust pipeline of new initiatives expected in the near term. We are keen to onboard a legal procurement expert on a part-time basis to facilitate this growth and enhance our legal services procurement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the re-procurement of current public sector legal service frameworks, ensuring adherence to the latest Procurement Act 2023 and associated regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive procurement documentation, including specifications, notices, advertisements, and contract documents.
  • Provide strategic guidance on potential procurement challenges and assist in the management of Access Agreements and Framework Agreements.
  • Deliver ad-hoc procurement advice and support to clients as required.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Extensive knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and related regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in public sector procurement, particularly in managing legal services contracts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
