Job Description

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Associate Building Surveyor to join our team in London. As a key member of our Infrastructure division, you will play a crucial role in delivering a full suite of Building Surveying duties across various sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and provide a range of building surveying/project management duties across multiple projects.
  • Assist in developing new and repeat business across all sectors.
  • Manage client relationships and service delivery on a project-by-project basis.
  • Support senior managers in the day-to-day running of the business, including project management and contract administration duties for larger projects.
  • Design and implement small to medium-sized projects, conduct due diligence surveys, and apply standard forms of building contracts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry issues and best practices.
  • Experience in bid development and management, client interface, and quality and timeliness of service delivery.
  • Defect analysis, building surveys, and professional report production.
  • Mentor junior Building Surveyors and participate in the APC program.
  • Understand quality, safety, and environmental principles within project management.
  • Deliver pre- and post-contract project management services and manage teams under framework agreements.
Requirements:
  • BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying RICS Accredited degree.
  • Full member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
  • Good all-round surveying experience, client-facing skills, and work-winning abilities.
  • Experience in pre- and post-contract project management, with a strong focus on delivering services to clients.
  • Good team working skills, communication abilities, and willingness to travel.
  • Strong IT skills, including Word and Excel, and awareness of BIM systems.
  • Ability to manage and develop team members, including mentoring APC graduates.
  • Experience in managing clients and their expectations, with a full understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
