We are currently seeking a Podiatrist to provide support to our existing teams, dedicating 1 x 4-hour session weekly at one facility and 1 x 4-hour session monthly at another. This position offers a balanced work-life schedule with no on-call or weekend duties.

As part of an innovative healthcare team, you will collaborate with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, and mental health professionals to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. You will also be integrated into the broader MSK Health in Justice Team, which includes physiotherapists and podiatrists across numerous facilities nationwide. You will receive mentorship from our Team Lead Podiatrist, along with access to a comprehensive appraisal system, in-service training, and funding for external clinical courses, ensuring a supportive learning environment.

Main Responsibilities

This role involves the advanced assessment and treatment of patients within the offender healthcare setting, addressing complex and chronic conditions. You will be responsible for:

  • Determining clinical diagnoses and treatment plans as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications Required

  • HCPC registration with post-registration experience in assessing and treating various conditions, including diabetic care, wound management, MSK issues, and nail surgery.
