At Radisson Blu Hotel Glasgow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Service Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the smooth running of the food and beverage department, ensuring that all aspects of the guest food and beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels.
  • Work proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.
  • Deliver on plans and objectives, ensuring that food and beverage initiatives and hotel targets are achieved.
  • Supervise the food and beverage team, fostering a culture of growth, development, and performance within the department.
  • Accountable for ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Take the lead to deliver departmental programmes that advance service standards, profitability, and cost control.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation, performing follow-up as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in food and beverage service.
  • Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to find creative solutions with proven problem-solving capabilities offering support where required.
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy.
  • Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms.
  • Strong communication skills.
