We are currently looking for a Casual Waiter/Waitress to support our Events division. This position operates on an as-needed basis and is compensated hourly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and sincere welcome to guests, including greeting upon arrival and offering assistance throughout the event.
  • Prepare and serve hot beverages and basic alcoholic drinks.
  • Deliver food and beverages in accordance with Claridge's high standards.
  • Exhibit confidence in performing Silver Service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of departmental equipment and event spaces.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for the hospitality sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a prestigious 5-star establishment while participating in large-scale events. We seek an enthusiastic individual to become part of our dedicated and focused team at this luxurious hotel.

While prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a hotel setting is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Effective communication skills, resourcefulness, adherence to strict hygiene standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations are essential. A flexible mindset is crucial to adapt to the dynamic nature of the department.

  • Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Eligibility:

In accordance with the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK. Documentation proving eligibility will be required during the recruitment process.
