We are currently looking for a Casual Waiter/Waitress to support our Events team. This position operates on an as-needed basis and is compensated hourly.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm and sincere welcome to guests, including greeting upon arrival and offering assistance throughout the service.
- Prepare and serve hot beverages and basic alcoholic drinks.
- Deliver food and beverages in accordance with Claridge's high standards.
- Demonstrate confidence in executing Silver Service.
- Maintain cleanliness of departmental equipment and the service area.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for the hospitality sector. This role presents an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a prestigious 5-star establishment while participating in significant events. We seek an enthusiastic individual to become part of our dedicated and focused team at this renowned luxury hotel.
While prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a hotel setting is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Effective communication skills, resource optimization, adherence to strict hygiene standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations are essential. A flexible attitude is crucial to adapt to the dynamic nature of the department.
- Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required.
