About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join our friendly and supportive pharmacy ward-based team on the bank. As a key member of our team, you will assist in leading and co-ordinating the delivery of the Pharmacy service and lead and develop relevant clinical / pharmaceutical audit and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide an advanced clinical pharmacist service within the surgery directorate, education, and training, and improving patient safety.
  • Support the Trustwide Nutrition team providing advice around the prescribing and monitoring of parenteral nutrition.
  • Manage and supervise the duties of pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists and ward support technicians within the clinical team.
  • Support the medicines information services and training pharmacy staff to deliver these services.
