About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Hospital Manager to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Wyke. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction to our multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the hospital's clinical services, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective clinical practice and leadership initiatives to drive service improvement.
  • Collaborate with medical teams, psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and social work departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Oversee the administration team, including HR, ward clerks, and medical secretaries, to ensure efficient hospital operations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of hospital strategies, contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in a mental health setting.
  • Significant experience in leading teams and/or senior practice-based work.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex information, managing complex circumstances.
  • Experience in partnership working with statutory and voluntary agencies.
  • Ability to set, monitor, and evaluate standards for high-quality care.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting reports at senior management level.
  • Ability to change practice, culture, and outcomes across professional boundaries.
