Job Title: Human Resources AdvisorAbout the Role

Selwood Housing Group is a leading provider of affordable housing in the South West, and we're seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our business objectives and ensuring that our employees are equipped to provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters to employees and management
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law and best practice
  • Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts and grievances
  • Conduct performance management and development activities to support employee growth and engagement
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to drive people-related projects and initiatives
Requirements
  • CIPD qualification level 3 or above
  • Previous experience as a HR advisor or similar role, with a deep understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Strong experience in Employee Relations
  • Knowledge of employment policies and case law
  • Experience and confidence to advise and influence others
  • An organised approach with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using people metrics
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation
