Job Summary

Vital Human Resources is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Mechanical Services department, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and ventilation systems in commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out fault finding and planned maintenance of air conditioning and ventilation equipment
  • Undertake day-to-day operations, including installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and ventilation systems
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective rectification measures
  • Communicate with clients and colleagues regarding breakdowns, maintenance schedules, and technical information
  • Participate in an on-call rota to ensure 24/7 coverage

Requirements

  • Time-served or apprenticed in a relevant mechanical or air conditioning discipline
  • C&G/NVQ in Ventilation and/or Air Conditioning
  • City and Guilds F-Gas Certificate
  • Basic competence in Electrical and Controls systems associated with Mechanical Services
  • Able to diagnose faults and implement effective rectification measures
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
