Deputy Headteacher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team at Chellow Heights Special School.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher to drive forward strategic initiatives and lead whole-school improvement. This will involve playing a key role in the Senior Leadership Team, with a focus on personal development and behaviour, monitoring and analysing outcomes, and leading on curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience of school leadership in a special school setting, including managing staff performance and professional development.
  • Proven high-quality experience of supporting children with complex needs, including PMLD, SLD, and ASC.
  • Knowledge of successful strategies for meeting the needs of children with sensory processing needs.
  • Ability to develop the culture and practice throughout the school on our journey to outstanding.
  • Aspirational leadership, committed to both their own professional development and the development of others.
