This position emphasizes adherence to vehicle maintenance standards while executing repairs, servicing, and upkeep of various vehicles. Furthermore, the specialist is tasked with ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all vehicle work prior to customer return
- Timely and accurate completion of necessary documentation
- Confirm the correct components for each task
- Support fellow technicians as required
- Efficiently utilize fleet management software
- Maintain a tidy and secure workshop space
- Address vehicle breakdowns on-site
- Foster professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers
- Be available for on-call shifts as necessary
- Adopt a flexible mindset to accommodate workshop and client requirements
Essential Skills
- HGV driving license (Category C)
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience with municipal vehicles
- Proficiency in vehicle electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Relevant certifications and training
- Understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively
Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling options
