Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Hospitality to join our team at Hampden Park, Scotland's prestigious national stadium and home of the Scotland national football team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our venue's hospitality offering.

Main Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed the venue's hospitality sales budget by actively seeking out new hospitality opportunities through proactive sales calls, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Strategic leadership of the hospitality team, including team management and leadership skills.
  • Retention of clients and account growth, with a focus on financial planning and management.
  • Maintaining sales standards of performance, including excellent communication skills with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Collaboration with key head of departments to support hospitality sales growth and delivery, as well as cross-selling opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate

You will be a renowned expert in the hospitality industry with an excellent understanding of the hospitality sales process, package architecture, inventory management, seat manifest, and ticketing fulfillment. You will have previously held the role of Head of Hospitality or similar at a stadium, arena, or large venue.

You will also have:

  • Working knowledge of hospitality systems and processes.
  • Working knowledge of pricing, package development, and hospitality inventory.
  • Team management and leadership skills.
  • Financial planning and management.
  • Excellent communication skills with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and employees at all levels.
  • Good knowledge of food safety, health and safety, and alcohol licensing requirements.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven thinking.
  • Experience in financial reporting and commercial understanding.
