About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Additional Resources. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to young people in our residential care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist young people in residential care with their daily needs, providing emotional and practical support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe and positive environment for young people.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar role.
  • Background working with children or young people in challenging environments.
  • Strong behavioural management skills, with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen actively and respond with empathy.
