Job Title: Consultant in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Consultant in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care to join our team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients in the intensive care unit, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines to improve patient care and safety.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in clinical audit and quality improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration with the General Medical Council.
  • Experience in intensive care medicine and anaesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
