Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our team on a fixed-term basis, covering a maternity leave within the Community Rehabilitation sector.

Role Responsibilities

This position is integral to our Community Rehabilitation team, which comprises Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, a Rehabilitation Nurse, and Support Workers. Our mission is to deliver patient-focused care in various settings, including patients' residences, nursing facilities, and assisted living environments. We aim to support and rehabilitate individuals with both chronic and acute health issues, emphasizing fall prevention and elderly care to help them achieve their maximum potential.

We maintain close collaboration with our colleagues in Community Nursing and Social Care. Additionally, the successful candidate will occasionally assist the Community Urgent Response team during critical times and will be expected to participate in a weekend rota as part of our 7-day service.

To excel in this role, you will need a broad range of clinical expertise and community experience, enabling you to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and resilience to change are essential. There will be instances of lone working.

Daily clinical support will be provided by Clinical Leads, along with a structured in-service training program designed to facilitate your professional development.
