We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist for a vibrant organization located in Berinsfield. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the prompt availability of all necessary materials at competitive prices. Your effectiveness will be evaluated based on supplier performance and your impact on the organization's financial success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify and place orders for both contractual and non-contractual items.
  • Engage in negotiations to secure lower pricing whenever feasible.
  • Maintain comprehensive supplier information and assess performance using the MRP system.
  • Oversee and enhance supplier performance metrics.
  • Ensure minimum stock levels are maintained in accordance with MRP requirements.
  • Modify MRP parameters to ensure timely availability and suitable batch sizes.
  • Follow up on outstanding purchase orders diligently.
  • Provide assistance to Stores and Production Control as required.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • CIPS qualification is desirable or a commitment to obtain it.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience with MRP/ERP/SAP systems.
  • Proven experience in managing supplier and customer relationships.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and assertiveness skills.
  • Flexible, dependable, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
