We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Retail Sales Associates to become part of The Entertainer team within a prominent supermarket setting.

Our exciting collaboration with a leading retail chain ensures that shopping for our exceptional range of toy brands is more accessible than ever.

In this supermarket environment, you will manage your own toy sections within our uniquely branded area. Your role will involve providing an outstanding shopping experience for customers, ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and properly priced, while also being available to confidently address any inquiries related to toys with your newly acquired knowledge.

With the support and guidance of your remote Manager, you will gain the expertise necessary to perform your key responsibilities, which include merchandising products, restocking the department, pricing items, and implementing promotional activities, all while keeping the toy selection current and well-supplied.

Bringing a high level of enthusiasm will be crucial in this distinctive role, where self-motivation, the ability to work independently, and a strong sense of pride in your work are essential qualities.

About the Role

  • Working Hours - Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, between the hours of 8am and 7pm is required.
  • Contract Available – 8 hours per week.
  • Shift patterns and days will vary but will be communicated in advance.
  • Overtime opportunities may be available.

  • Be practical and flexible – you will be working autonomously to handle deliveries and should be adaptable with shift patterns and overtime. Quick thinking is vital for success in this position.
  • Be enthusiastic and self-assured – comfortable engaging with management at both The Entertainer and the retail partner, and genuinely enjoy your work.
  • Be tech-savvy and responsible – utilize company resources appropriately and maintain communication with your Line Manager through various platforms.
  • Be open and honest – maintain transparent communication with your Line Manager and colleagues, promptly reporting any issues.
  • Be confident and decisive – communicate clearly and respond swiftly and positively to any changes.
  • Be passionate and knowledgeable – engage with customers by sharing your expertise and providing valuable advice about our products.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Merchandising, managing deliveries, restocking inventory, and pricing oversight.
  • Conducting initial shift checks for pricing accuracy, stock levels, and maintaining general standards.
  • Restocking your section, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintaining effective communication with colleagues and your Line Manager.
  • Engaging with customers in the aisles, initiating conversations, and encouraging sales through your extensive toy knowledge.
