About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at The Entertainer, working in partnership with Tesco Extra. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing toy department, and ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchandising and maintaining the toy department, including replenishing stock, pricing, and implementing promotions.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering customer queries, and making recommendations on our products.
- Working independently to unload deliveries, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations and achieve sales targets.
- Participating in visual merchandising and maintaining the overall appearance of the toy department.
Requirements
- Reliability and dependability, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to providing a positive shopping experience.
