Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team at Libertatem Healthcare Group. Our client is looking for someone that can support them on a part-time basis with personal care such as showering and assisting with household chores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with personalized routines to promote independence and well-being.
  • Complete daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility, to ensure the client's comfort and safety.
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions to prevent complications and promote recovery.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the client's quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's conditions to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviors and provide a calm and composed response.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours and adapt to changing circumstances.

Training & Background Checks

An enhanced DBS check and full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client. You will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
