Job Title: Reception Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Manager to join our team at Medicus Health Partners. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our reception area, ensuring a positive experience for patients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the reception team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
  • Oversee the administration of patient records, including registration and data entry
  • Process prescriptions and manage the repeat prescribing process
  • Ensure compliance with practice policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data protection
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
Requirements:
  • GCSE English and Maths (C or above) and at least two other subjects
  • Experience of leading/managing a team, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Knowledge of practice management systems and software
