About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Kent Plc. As a key member of our Process Department, you will play a vital role in shaping our exciting projects in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the lead engineer on feasibility, concept, FEED, detailed design, or EPC projects
  • Technical responsibility for an area of work and supervising the preparation of specific deliverables
  • Undertaking specific tasks or areas of work as defined by the lead or principal engineer
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies and divergences from the original proposal or contract under the supervision of the lead or principal engineer
  • Participating in factory acceptance tests
  • Supporting the preparation of the process TDR and executing allocated tasks within the requirements of the project execution plan and TDR
  • Ensuring compliance with Kent's ISO accredited QMS and project-specific procedures, guides, and standards
  • In consultation with the process group manager, taking responsibility for identifying own development needs and ensuring that agreed development goals are met, taking due cognizance of project commitments
  • Performing related duties as and when instructed by the lead or principal engineer or group manager
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Engineering degree, honors or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar
  • Exposure to consultancy, FEED/detailed design, and EPC projects
  • Knowledge of applicable international and industry specifications, standards, and codes
  • Knowledge of safety and quality procedures and best practice
