Fitness Operations Manager - JD Gyms
Permanent Position
This position calls for a collaborative individual with a keen sense of business acumen, along with the enthusiasm and drive to enhance and expand the operations alongside the General Manager.
We seek a leader with a proven track record in upholding and elevating standards and reputation, while fostering a growing community and team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the fitness center.
- Take on the duties of the General Manager during their absence.
- Contribute to the commercial success of the establishment.
- Ensure operational excellence throughout the facility.
- Achieve the established performance indicators.
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff, guiding them towards success.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience in a management role within the leisure or fitness industry is essential.
- A strong passion for customer service and the ability to inspire through effective leadership.
- Must hold at least a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
- Experience in driving sales and coordinating local marketing initiatives while managing a successful team is required.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager overseeing various operational areas in a leisure facility or significant experience as a Fitness Manager or similar role is preferred.
