Gap Personnel - Bristol is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Operative to support a company in St Phillips, Bristol, BS2.

As a skilled Maintenance Operative, you will be part of a team with extensive experience in the sourcing and distribution of fruit products.

Reporting Structure: You will report to the facilities team, and it is crucial that you take pride in your work, demonstrate strong attention to detail, possess effective verbal communication skills, and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general and detailed maintenance tasks with either direct or indirect supervision,
  • including patching, painting, hardware repairs, and other necessary repair or replacement work.
  • Perform routine maintenance on facilities and equipment.
  • Allocate time weekly to assist with general office tasks related to the work request system and procurement of supplies and materials.
  • Carry out daily inspections of assigned buildings and areas.
  • Assist or independently manage general and detailed cleaning of all interior and exterior spaces.
  • Adhere to the Facilities Work Request System.
  • Complete all necessary documentation for work performed in a timely manner.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.
