Key Responsibilities:
As a Cleaning and Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in allocated buildings or areas within buildings. This will involve:
- Emptying waste bins and transporting waste to designated collection points.
- Sweeping and mopping floors, as well as using electrically powered scrubbing/polishing machines to clean and maintain floors.
- Dusting, damp wiping, washing, or polishing furniture, ledges, windowsills, and external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves, and fitments.
- Replenishing consumable items, such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels, as required.
- Cleaning toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, and drinking fountains.
- Using chemical agents as directed, after receiving proper instruction and training.
- Undertaking wall washing or inside windowpane cleaning to a height no greater than body height plus an arm's extension from floor level, during periodic cleaning maintenance programmes.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
- Maintaining confidentiality and observing data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
