Role Purpose
The Facilities Maintenance team is dedicated to providing a proactive and reactive maintenance service for a significant healthcare provider. To uphold our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a versatile technician with plumbing expertise to join our team.
This multifaceted role will involve executing various maintenance tasks, with a primary focus on plumbing, while also addressing general maintenance duties. The position requires mobility as you will be responsible for maintaining multiple sites, thus a valid UK driving license is essential.

- Full-time hours with a permanent contract; standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Participation in an on-call rota for emergency repairs is required, with standby allowances and overtime compensation.

Required Experience
Relevant experience in building maintenance is essential, preferably within the healthcare sector or with a contractor servicing the healthcare industry. Alternatively, experience with a maintenance contractor in a commercial environment, such as hotels or educational institutions, is acceptable.
Applicants should possess the ability to perform a wide range of plumbing repairs alongside other general maintenance skills, which may include carpentry and plastering. Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs are crucial. A valid UK driving license is mandatory, and the position is subject to a background check.
