Croda - Manufacturing Site Leader

We are in search of a seasoned and strategic Manufacturing Site Leader to oversee our operations at Ditton. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in batch chemical production settings and a deep commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of a relevant degree and prior leadership experience in a manufacturing context
  • Proven expertise in cultivating and upholding a safety-first culture throughout the facility
  • Demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning and aligning operational objectives with broader business goals
  • Outstanding people management capabilities to develop talent and boost team performance
  • Strong communication skills for effective engagement with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Documented experience in advancing diversity, equality, and inclusion within a unionized framework

Main Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a detailed long-term strategy for the manufacturing site
  • Guide and mentor the site management team
  • Oversee industrial relations and negotiations with labor unions
  • Collaborate with both internal and external partners to enhance profitability and drive innovation
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and creativity
  • Ensure effective communication and training initiatives for all employees
  • Adhere to CSR policies and comply with external regulations
  • Lead initiatives for change and investment in new products and processes
  • Proactively identify and address challenges and risks
