Job Overview

Vistry Group PLC is seeking an experienced Residential Development Solicitor to join our team in Coleshill, Birmingham. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide property legal services to our Midland and North Divisions, supporting the Senior Solicitor in the acquisition of land, sale of land parcels, and other property-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support to the Senior Solicitor on property-related matters, including land acquisition, sale of land parcels, and other property transactions.
  • Work closely with the internal legal team, external legal advisors, and management to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including developers, registered providers, and investors, to negotiate and draft development agreements, construction contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Provide generic legal advice and signposting to key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experienced Residential Development Solicitor with a strong background in property law and development.
  • Excellent negotiation and networking skills, with the ability to influence others and work under pressure.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with a methodical approach to working practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Discretion and integrity in attitude and approach, with a willingness to work extra to meet business needs.
