About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Development Solicitor to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Solicitor with the provision of property legal services to our Midland and North Divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Solicitor in the provision of property legal services to the Midland and North Divisions.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, external legal advisors, and management to drive structure, process, and best practice.
  • Advise and influence key stakeholders on site acquisition and transactional expertise, including land acquisition, disposal, sub-sales, and PRS/BTR frameworks.
  • Lead on disposals to registered providers and investors, and draft and negotiate development agreements/construction contracts.
  • Provide generic legal advice/signposting to key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experienced residential development solicitor with NQ - 3 years PQE.
  • Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritize workload.
  • A methodical approach to working practices.
  • Able to influence others.
  • Discretion and integrity in attitude and approach.
  • Willing to work extra to meet deadlines as and when business needs require.
  • Ability to manage a number of stakeholders.
