About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales and Service Advisor to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a Sales and Service Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while identifying opportunities to upsell and provide additional value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage the lifecycle of customer orders, including proactive communication, delivery, and collection
  • Utilize a consultative approach to close sales and recommend products and services to customers based on their needs
  • Generate and follow up on open quotations and orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion
  • Closing sales and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Troubleshoot customer queries and complaints, providing solutions and alternatives in a timely manner
  • Ensure a positive customer experience, meeting and exceeding our brand values and customer expectations
  • Meet or exceed personal and team key performance metrics and targets
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge to provide customers with accurate information
  • Behave in a respectful and professional manner, reinforcing and elevating the business reputation and brand
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, liaising with them to resolve customer queries
Requirements
  • A proven track record of target achievement in an internal sales and customer service driven role
  • Passionate and willing to go the extra mile to deliver a good job, with a 'can do' attitude
  • Innovative, willing to think outside the box to meet customer needs
  • Ability to conduct customer needs analysis using different questioning and listening techniques
  • Excellent sales negotiation skills, with the ability to recognize buying signals and close sales
  • Ensure a positive and polite customer experience, recognizing our commitment to putting customers first
  • Able to balance a customer-oriented and results-driven approach
  • Focused on quality and accuracy of data captured
  • Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Builds rapport with customers and internal stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Ability to establish credibility, act decisively, but recognize and support preferences and priorities of the customer
  • Proactive, high energy team player, with the ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident with technology, with working knowledge of MS Office applications, including MS Word and Excel
