Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

Are you a seasoned Health and Safety Manager looking for a new challenge in a manufacturing environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team at C-TECH RECRUITMENT LTD.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join our Brands and Snacking Business Unit. As a key member of our site leadership structure, you will be responsible for building a robust safety culture at our site. Your primary focus will be on improving site KPIs (DART Rate, Incident reduction, Behavioural Safety Observations) and enhancing culture through the utilisation of positive change, impact, and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety strategy to reduce risks and improve site safety performance.
  • Conduct regular internal inspections of the facility, respond to requests for support, and document internal inspections and audits.
  • Ensure the facility is in line with Central Risk frameworks and documented processes, including site Risk Assessments and compliance measures.
  • Collaborate with the Central HSE function on internal and external audit programs, including ISO 45001, 14001, and Insurance Inspections.
  • Embody the Go For Zero culture and promote positive behaviours among teams to manage safety in their areas.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Health and Safety Manager within a manufacturing environment.
  • NEBOSH Certificate or higher H&S qualification.
