Health and Safety Manager Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join our Brands and Snacking Business Unit. As a key member of our site leadership structure, you will be responsible for building a robust safety culture at our site. Your primary focus will be on improving site KPIs, enhancing culture, and progressing towards sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety strategy to reduce DART rates, incidents, and improve behavioural safety observations.
  • Collaborate with the Central HSE function to engage in campaigns, promote positive behaviours, and coach teams to manage safety in their areas.
  • Conduct internal inspections of the facility, respond to requests for support, and document internal inspections and audits.
  • Ensure the facility is in line with Central Risk frameworks and documented processes, and that site risk assessments are completed in accordance with Central standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working as a Health and Safety Manager in a manufacturing environment.
  • A NEBOSH Certificate or higher H&S qualification.
