What will your responsibilities include?
Your role will be to guide and assist production teams in ensuring that both new and existing products comply with customer and regulatory quality and safety standards, while optimizing manufacturing processes to reduce waste and rework costs.

• Facilitate QRQC meetings and promote a culture of addressing defects immediately.

• Lead investigations and troubleshoot product and production challenges at the source of the issue.

• Organize and chair Material Review Boards to assess non-conforming products.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to utilize problem-solving methodologies (such as 8Ds) for addressing non-conformities.

• Monitor and analyze Non-Conformance data, presenting findings at management review sessions.

• Collaborate with Operations Managers to design and implement quality control systems and enhancements to processes/products.

• Conduct verification and validation tasks in support of New Product Introductions, overseeing and approving FAI and APQP processes.

• Map processes to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant workflows and procedures.

• Maintain and execute an annual product audit schedule.

• Engage in Continual Professional Development to stay updated with current and emerging manufacturing and engineering trends and technologies relevant to product quality.

What qualifications are required?

• A degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.

• English and Maths GCSE grades 9-4 (A*-C)

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with a systematic approach to analyzing written and numerical data.

• Proficient in PC usage and software tools.
