Manufacturing Inspector

About the Role
Safran Helicopter Engines is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Inspector to join our team in the UK. This role will involve ensuring that products meet customer requirements, quality standards, and airworthiness authorities. As a Manufacturing Inspector, you will work in accordance with HSE legislation, company policies, and procedures to guarantee the highest level of quality and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect products to ensure they meet customer requirements and quality standards
- Work with various inspection methods and equipment during the manufacturing life cycle
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to SQCDPI quality requirements and improvements
- Utilize SAP system to track routings, data entry, and produce final release documentation
- Input, record, and analyze data in various formats, including FAI requirements, self-inspection, databases, and Microsoft suite
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience working in the manufacturing sector, preferably in aerospace or automotive
- Familiarity with company procedures and processes within an organization accredited to ISO, CAA, BSI, or equivalent standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively
