Manufacturing Quality Inspector

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Inspector to join our team at Safran Helicopter Engines. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our helicopter engine components.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect products to ensure they meet customer requirements, quality standards, and airworthiness authorities.
- Use a variety of inspection methods and equipment to inspect components during the manufacturing life cycle.
- Work in accordance with HSE legislation, company policies, and procedures.
- Ensure documentation and routings are completed and processed correctly in a timely manner.
- Provide cover for colleagues as required and contribute to business objectives and continuous improvement.
- Utilize SAP system to track routings, data entry, and produce final release documentation.
- Input, record, and analyze data in various formats, including FAI requirements, self-inspection, databases, and Microsoft suite.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing sector, preferably in aerospace or automotive industry.
- Familiarity with company procedures and processes within an organization accredited to ISO, CAA, BSI, or equivalent standards.
- Apprenticeship in manufacturing sector or similar industry.
