Job Overview

The Business Insights Consultant will be instrumental in driving high-impact projects, establishing and nurturing professional relationships with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and evaluate business requirements. Utilizing process mapping techniques such as Flowcharts, UML, and BPMN, the consultant will assess and document workflows effectively. Additionally, they will model data to comprehend, organize, and manage information sequences through methods like Entity-Relationship and Data-Flow Diagrams. This role encompasses managing change with technology dependencies, system mapping, impact analysis, monitoring, reporting, and integration planning.

Collaboration is essential in this position, as the Business Insights Consultant will partner with senior management, project managers, development teams, end users, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure that project requirements are accurately captured, understood, and fulfilled. Responsibilities will support the successful execution of large-scale projects from initiation through to deployment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role aligned with the responsibilities outlined above.
  • Experience in mapping and modeling processes, data, and applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing teams and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to formulate clear and testable requirements/user stories.
  • Proficient in assessing, planning, and managing the impact of change within the business context.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently when necessary.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable organizing and facilitating workshops.
  • Excellent skills in data visualization and reporting.
  • Ability to present information in a clear, structured, and organized manner.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks across various projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as waterfall and agile.
