We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Leek & Moorlands. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide support and companionship to our clients in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Perform household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and tidying.
- Prepare and assist with meals.
- Offer companionship and social support, engaging with clients' hobbies and interests.
- Support with personal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.
- Accompany clients on outings to local shops or cafes.
- Ensure transparent communication with clients and their loved ones, providing first-rate care and comfort.
- Record accurate daily notes and maintain strong communication with the office.
- Administer medication and record appropriately.
Requirements:
- No experience is required; we offer comprehensive in-house training.
- A full driver's license and dependable transportation are essential.
- Reliability and punctuality are crucial to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
- A caring and friendly personality is essential.
