Job Title: Senior IT Support Engineer

Location: Central Lancaster

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

In Technology Group is seeking a skilled 2nd Line IT Engineer to join our team. As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients across various industries in Lancashire. You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting clients remotely and on-site, and will be part of a fun and positive team that values collaboration and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote desktop
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and network infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
  • Experience with virtualization, cloud services, and networking technologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
