As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and empowering our team of nurses and carers to provide outstanding individualized nursing care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and carers to provide high-quality nursing care to residents with a range of conditions, including dementia.
- Develop and implement person-centered care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate Standards and Regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with a valid NMC pin.
- Proven experience in elderly care, with a strong understanding of dementia care and person-centered approaches.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current evidence-based practice and Care Inspectorate Standards and Regulations.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
