Job Title: Community Paediatrician

We are seeking an experienced Community Paediatrician to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with neuro-disability and other complex needs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing community-based care to children and their families. You will be working closely with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide community-based care to children with neuro-disability and other complex needs
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for children and their families
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify children's needs and develop strategies for support
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide education and training on neuro-disability and related topics
Requirements
  • Full valid registration with the General Medical Council
  • Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health (or equivalent) or Diploma in Child Health
  • Experience in clinical audit and quality improvement
  • Level 3 Child Protection Training
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership and supervision
