Job Title: Community Paediatrician, Neuro-disability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Paediatrician to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with neuro-disability and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community paediatrics, including experience in child development, ASD, ADHD, neuro-disability, and children with special educational needs. You will be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with children, families, and other healthcare professionals. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to children with neuro-disability and their families
  • Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Requirements:

  • Full valid registration with the General Medical Council
  • Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health (or equivalent)
  • Experience in community paediatrics, including child development, ASD, ADHD, neuro-disability, and children with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
